Compute: Ultra-low-power SoC / MCU
The brain of the tag: a low-power microcontroller that runs the sensing loop, on-device logic, and the SOS state machine on a tiny power budget so the battery lasts.
Connectivity: Bluetooth Low Energy
Pairs the tag to the wearer's phone and the 🤫 network for everyday syncing at very low power.
Connectivity: Cellular or LoRa (optional)
An optional wide-area radio so an out-of-range SOS can still reach help when there is no paired phone nearby. Selected per market.
Location: GNSS / location
Multi-constellation positioning so the nearest loved one and emergency help know where the wearer is, by their consent.
Vitals: Optical heart-rate and SpO2 (PPG)
A photoplethysmography sensor that reads heart rate and blood-oxygen trends to build a personal baseline. Trend signals, not a diagnosis.
Vitals: Skin-temperature sensor
Adds skin temperature as another wellness signal that helps distinguish a meaningful change from noise.
Motion: IMU / accelerometer
Motion sensing for activity, rest, and routine, and the basis for best-effort fall and inactivity detection.

Two-way voice for an SOS: the wearer can be heard and can hear the loved one or responder who answers.
Feedback: Haptic motor
A quiet vibration to confirm an SOS is sending, to run the cancel countdown, and to nudge without a screen.

A physical, unmistakable button so help is one tap away, even when someone cannot navigate a screen.
Power: Rechargeable Li-Po battery and charging
A small rechargeable cell with simple charging, sized for multi-day wear between charges.
Trust: Secure element
A hardware root of trust for consent and identity, tying the tag to the Hushh Protocol (PCHP) so every share is owner-controlled and receipted.
Wearability: Biocompatible enclosure and band
Skin-safe materials in a comfortable, neck-worn form the wearer will actually keep on all day.

We source a best-in-class tag from a proven wearable manufacturer and add the Hussh software, network, and consent layer on top.
Is it a medical device?
No. Tag One is a consent-first wellness and safety companion, not a medical device. Vital-sign and well-being sensing gives trend and early-warning signals, not diagnoses, and mental-well-being is inferred from signals, never a clinical assessment. The SOS path is best-effort and depends on connectivity and the people in your circle; it is not a guaranteed emergency-response service. Always seek a doctor for medical concerns.
