The edge, open standards, and creator independence.
Worked backwards from Cloudflare's real business β a global edge network within ~50ms of most of the internet, Workers edge compute, Zero Trust, and a genuine creator-independence stance. Cloudflare and π€« share three convictions: edge-first (compute close to the person), open standards (both build on MCP; Cloudflare is a Platinum member of the Agentic AI Foundation), and creators compensated on their own terms. This is our proposal to build the consent-first, agent-to-agent layer of exactly that.
Written from public information. A proposal in pursuit β not a claim of partnership, endorsement, or investment by Cloudflare.
Why Cloudflare Γ π€« is obvious β in one look.
You build on MCP and are a Platinum member of the Agentic AI Foundation β open agent standards, no lock-in.
π€« speaks the same MCP/A2A rails; a person's Agent One consumes and exposes remote MCP servers on Cloudflare.
Agent-to-agent interop on shared open rails β the local-connection engine, built on standards you champion.
Pay-per-crawl β pay-per-use compensates creators on their terms; 'local is the place to be.'
π€« is creator-first β a creator's content is their brand and biggest asset, to own and grow, never extract.
A joint creator-independence pattern: a creator's π€« Agent grants and charges access on the creator's terms.
Workers AI runs serverless inference across 330+ cities, ~50ms from users.
Our distributed edge grid pairs owner-operated compute with a global edge front door.
Cloudflare handles global ingress and security; owned compute does the heavy, private work.
How Cloudflare wins, honestly.
Cloudflare is a connectivity-cloud / edge-network platform sold on subscription plus usage, spanning security, performance, and a developer platform. Every figure is public (Cloudflare Q1 2026 filings) and approximate.
Up 34% YoY, at ~73% non-GAAP gross margin β the biggest tailwind in the company's history, per its CEO.
As of Apr 2026 β 'enough to route more than 20% of the web,' spanning 330+ cities.
Every service runs in every location β compute, security, and storage close to people worldwide.
Cloudflare co-anchors the Linux-Foundation Agentic AI Foundation (MCP, goose, AGENTS.md) β the open agent rails.
Serverless AI inference across 330+ cities, plus AI Gateway, Vectorize, and R2.
From pay-per-crawl (block AI without payment) to paying publishers when their content creates value.
A ubiquitous edge, one platform, open standards.
Cloudflare's strengths β edge ubiquity, an integrated platform, and an anti-lock-in posture β align tightly with the π€« thesis.
The ubiquitous edge
A single global anycast network (330+ cities, 500 Tbps) where every service runs everywhere β sub-50ms delivery worldwide.
Workers edge compute
Code runs at the edge in every PoP, not a few central regions β the basis for the AI and agents stack.
Integrated Zero Trust security
DDoS, WAF, bot management, and a Zero Trust/SASE suite from the same edge β security a consent-first service needs.
One developer platform
Workers, Workers AI, Durable Objects, Vectorize, R2, AI Gateway, and the Agents SDK β designed to interoperate.
Open standards (MCP)
A Platinum member of the Agentic AI Foundation; remote MCP servers with OAuth-based auth β open agent rails, no vendor lock-in.
Creator independence
Pay-per-crawl and use-case controls (Search / Agent / Training) β creators compensated on their terms.
Remote MCP, Code Mode, and pay-per-use.
What Cloudflare shipped or announced most recently β the surfaces a partnership plugs into. Stated honestly, shipped vs. announced.
Remote MCP servers + Agents SDK
Build and deploy remote MCP servers on Cloudflare (OAuth authn/authz), and agents on Durable Objects with a built-in MCP client. Shipped.
Code Mode (MCP)
Expose an entire API in ~1,000 tokens by turning MCP tools into code β cutting input tokens up to ~99.9% for large APIs. Shipped (Apr 2026).
Pay-per-crawl β pay-per-use
Charge AI crawlers via HTTP 402 (announced Jul 2025, private beta), evolving to pay publishers when their content creates value β the creator-compensation frontier.
Workers AI + AI Gateway
Serverless edge inference plus an observability/caching/rate-limiting layer in front of model providers β the burst/overflow tier.
What Cloudflare is building toward.
AI re-platforming of the internet
Prince: 'AI is driving a fundamental re-platforming of the Internet⦠the biggest tailwind we've ever seen.'
A sustainable content ecosystem
Prince: now that most traffic is non-human, act faster 'so that a sustainable ecosystem can emerge' β creators compensated.
Open agent standards
CTO Dane Knecht: open standards like MCP 'ensure anyone can build agents⦠without the fear of vendor lock-in.'
Agentic infrastructure
Agents SDK, remote MCP servers, and an enterprise MCP reference architecture.
Edge AI + Zero Trust
Edge inference and Zero Trust security delivered from the same global network.
The people carrying it.
Our respectful reading of public roles and priorities β so any partnership makes each of their jobs easier, not harder.

Buy together. Build together. Sell together. Take risk together.
Both companies bet on an edge-first, standards-based, creator-respecting internet. Present it as real thesis alignment plus concrete interop, not endorsement.
Build together β MCP, mutually
Cloudflare deploys remote MCP servers with OAuth and is a Platinum AAIF member.
π€« Agent One consumes and exposes consent-gated MCP servers on Cloudflare β a receipt-friendly (PCHP) pattern.
Agent-to-agent interop on shared open rails; Code Mode cuts Agent One's tool-call token cost.
Build together β the edge front door
Workers, Zero Trust, and WAF/DDoS run within ~50ms of users globally.
Run Agent One's public-facing edge functions, auth, and security on Cloudflare, complementing owned compute on the person's devices.
Agent One's public edge stays fast and protected worldwide, while private work runs on hardware the person owns.
Sell together β the directory as MCP endpoints
Cloudflare champions discoverable, standard agent interop.
The π€« Yellow Pages and each human π€« Agent expose a consent-first MCP endpoint other agents can discover and reach.
A two-sided, agent-to-agent local-connection surface on shared rails.
Take risk together β creator settlement (exploratory)
Pay-per-crawl charges AI crawlers via HTTP 402; pay-per-use is evolving toward paying creators when their content creates value.
An exploratory pilot: a creator's π€« Agent answers a 402 with a PCHP consent receipt that grants access and sets terms β the payment challenge and the consent-receipt handshake on one request.
A concrete 402-plus-receipt reference pattern for consent-first creator compensation β clearly exploratory, not yet built.
An open, edge-first, creator-respecting internet.
Cloudflare's own words β 're-platforming of the Internet,' 'no vendor lock-in,' and a 'sustainable content ecosystem' β map onto 'Own your AI. Own your data. Own your compute' and our creator-first principle. Cloudflare's 330+-city edge is a potential global front door for the Puppy One / Starlink grid, with owned compute doing the heavy work. And π€« Agent One is free for life to every US federal and state government employee and every past or present service member.
Buy together. Build together. Sell together.
The best business is fun when there is real money to be made and real value created for the people we both serve. That is the only partnership we will build β and we would be proud to build it with Cloudflare.
What this is, and isn't.
This is our proposal, assembled from public information β not a claim of partnership, endorsement, sponsorship, or investment by Cloudflare. Cloudflare is not currently a partner of HushOne or Hushh Technologies. Product statuses are stated as shipped vs. announced/beta (e.g., pay-per-crawl is private beta). Cloudflare, Workers, and related marks are trademarks of Cloudflare, Inc. Our own certifications are 'in pursuit' until a 3PAO assessment or agency ATO says otherwise.
